Factors influencing the timeframe:
- Your website's history: A site with a completely new domain needs more time to "prove" itself (this is called the "Google Sandbox" effect) than a site that has been operating for years but hasn't been optimized yet.
- The competition: It matters whether we want to advance a local, small-town flower shop's website or a company targeting the "plastic windows" keyword nationwide. The greater the competition, the more time and energy are needed.
- Keyword difficulty: There are general, high search volume keywords (e.g., "website creation") and more specific, so-called long-tail keywords (e.g., "website creation for businesswomen Budapest"). Results can be achieved faster for the latter.
- Invested work: Regular, quality content production (blogging), fixing technical SEO errors, and link building all speed up the process. We progress slower with one blog post a month than with two a week.
Generally speaking, the first tangible results (significant ranking improvement, organic traffic growth) start to appear after 3-6 months. Reaching stable, top 3 positions can take even 6-12 months.
