Website Mistakes

Many entrepreneurs think that just having any website is enough, and customers will come automatically. Then months pass, and the expensively built site doesn't bring a single inquiry. Sound familiar? We review the 4 most common reasons why a website fails to perform, and show the solutions too.

1. It's Not Clear What You Do

A visitor has 3 seconds to decide if they are in the right place. If your homepage is full of marketing clichés ("Innovative solutions", "Quality and reliability") but it's not immediately clear who you help and with what problem, the visitor will click back immediately. Solution: Have a clean, clear value proposition on the homepage that immediately answers the "Who?", "What?", and "How?" questions.

2. Confusing Navigation and User Experience (UX)

If the visitor can't find what they are looking for because the menu is illogical, buttons are hidden, or the site is unusable on mobile, they will get frustrated and leave. Poor user experience is the silent killer of conversion. Solution: Design a simple, logical menu structure. Important information (e.g., contact, prices) should be accessible with 1-2 clicks. Test the site on mobile too!

3. No One Finds It on Google (Missing SEO)

Even the most beautiful website is worthless if no one sees it. If your site is not optimized for search engines, your potential customers will land at the competition. Solution: Perform keyword research and create content (service pages, blog posts) that answers your customers' questions. Optimize technical settings and loading speed.

4. You Don't Tell the Visitor What to Do (Missing CTA)

The visitor read your services, is convinced of your expertise... and now what? If there is no clear, prominent "Call to Action" (CTA) button telling them the next step, they will likely just close the page. Solution: Have a clear goal and a corresponding button on every page. E.g., "Request a Quote!", "Contact Us!", "Buy Now!".

A successful website is not a work of art, but a precisely designed sales tool. Examine your own site based on these!
